Questions about the optimizer
What is a citability score?
A 0-100 measure of how likely a generative AI engine is to cite this content when synthesizing an answer, based on structural signals like whether the opening paragraph gives a direct, extractable answer, whether headings cover distinct sub-questions, and whether claims are specific rather than vague.
Is this the same thing as an SEO content score?
No. Traditional SEO scoring tools optimize for keyword usage and ranking factors. This scores for AI extraction: whether the content is shaped so an engine can lift a clean, standalone answer from it, which is a different structural bar.
Can I check a live URL instead of pasting content?
Not yet on the free tool; paste the content directly for now. URL-based scoring is planned as a fast-follow once it's built and verified.
Does a low score mean the content is bad?
It means the content is structured in a way AI engines are less likely to extract cleanly, which is a separate question from whether the writing itself is good. The fixes address structure, not prose quality.
Is my pasted content saved anywhere?
No. For anonymous, unauthenticated use, content is scored and discarded, never persisted beyond the session.
